This was purely an excuse to get together with two of my best friends. Mark provided an event and a great place to hang out for a weekend. It started off with a bit of scrambling to get the Chevelle ready for a trip. It had spent a few years transitioning from an automatic to a manual. Realistically, I was just too busy to do it much quicker.
The effort was well spent. It was a short and uneventful drive from the Puget Sound to the Tri-cities. I shook out a few minor bugs and loved the drive.
We spent a little time cruising around looking at a wide variety of cool cars and even more time just hanging out. It was great. Mike brought his convertible, which was the favored way to get around while we were there.
